Examining Tarbawi's Educational Portrait through the Life History of the Prophet

Abstract

This research aims to explore the concept of tarbawi education through a comprehensive review of the life history of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Using qualitative research methods with a literature study approach, this study analyzes various educational aspects developed by the Prophet throughout his life. The research findings demonstrate that the Prophet’s educational approach was holistic, encompassing spiritual, intellectual, and social development. The educational methods employed by the Prophet included exemplary leadership (uswah), advice, parables, and direct practice. The study concludes that the Prophet’s educational model was not merely a knowledge transfer but a transformation of character and the development of high-quality generations. The implications of this research provide a new perspective in understanding comprehensive and sustainable Islamic educational concepts.
